Gearing Up For Your First Post-Quarantine Massage
Below are some clarifications for opening in June 2020. If you have an appointment scheduled or plan on scheduling in the upcoming months, please read this thoroughly. These decisions were made after reading 86 pages of OSHA, CDC and FSMTB literature guided around each of our safety.
HIGH RISK CLIENTS:
Per the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB), they suggest you forgo massage. If you are considered high risk and you’d still like to come to your appointment, you MUST contact your doctor for a note saying it is okay to receive massage. FAX seems to be the easiest option. The fax number is 414-323-6301. ATTN: Amber Ponticelli or Tuned and Tranquil Massage. Otherwise you can bring a doctors note the day of your appointment. Therapist will keep a copy of it on hand.
· Over 65 years of age
· Chronic Lung Disease
· Moderate to Severe Asthma
· Heart Conditions
· Compromised or Suppressed Immunity
· Severe Obesity (body mass index of 40 or higher)
· Chronic Kidney Disease
· Liver Disease
Please be sure to take the proper steps in the reminder email the DAY BEFORE or DAY OF your appointment so your therapist has the most up-to-date information.
The first Button is red and says “Yes, I will be there”. After clicking, it confirms your appointment THEN takes you to the digital COVID pre-screening.
The second Button is blue and says “COMPLETE INTAKE FORM”. This should be done before EVERY appointment to minimize chatter in the studio to only assessment and preference questions.
ARRIVAL TO YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT:
Please arrive alone, wearing a face mask, no gloves, and with your own water. If you need an interpreter or you are a minor with a parent, that is the only exception. They also suggest you bring a second mask just in case. There will be sanitation upon entering and leaving the room. If you forget your water, I will have extras.
Temperature screenings will be taken immediately.
There will be a liability release form awaiting each of you each session. I have allotted extra time in the schedule to discuss any questions or concerns about the form.
I will keep you all updated with text messages as well.
AS ALWAYS, feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns!
BE WELL & CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU!
